PPS
Polyphenylene Sulphide (PPS) is suitable for high performance structural components requiring thermal stability, structural integrity, high dimensional stability and exceptional resistance to a broad range of acids, alkalis, ketones and hydrocarbons.
PPS is inert to steam, compatible with common sterilization methods, and can be machined to tight tolerances.
Key Features
- Excellent strength and rigidity up to 425°F continuous use with minimum decline in mechanical properties
- Outstanding anti-fatigue and anti-creep properties
- Superior chemical resistance
- Excellent resistance to radiation?and inert to steam
- Virtually no moisture absorption
- Low coefficient of thermal expansion, high dimensional stability
- Outstanding electrical properties?at high frequency, high temp and high humidity
- Inherently flame retardant (UL 94 V-0 rating)
